The Shotley Rose Pub Rally

A boozy weekend but they are not all like that…

We arrived in good time to set out the field and have dinner in The Rose Inn, Shotley before the crowd arrived. The beers and the food served were excellent again this year and we received a very warm welcome from Sarah and her staff which must mean that we behaved ourselves last year !

The field seemed even better than before and when Nick and I marked it out, we had to go back and adjust the lines that were slightly… shall we say “wonky !” No reason given 🙂

We would like to thank Sarah and her team for putting on a lovely Mini Beer Festival and timing it to coincide with our rally. The entertainment was excellent and the choice of beers and ciders were truly wonderful. Can’t say I liked them all but I did find several of them I went back to… regularly 🙂
