SUMMARY:DIVISION QUESTION TIME AT The Suffolk Punch Trust
DESCRIPTION:Unfortunately\, the Trustees of the Suffolk Punch Trust have decided to close the visitor centre\, due I believe to finance to keep it open\, as some of you know the rally is held in the grounds of the visitor centre and we have been advised that it cannot be run.\nThe Marshals of the rally are very sorry it has had to be cancelled\, but it is out of our control\, and we take this opportunity to thank the ralliers who have supported us on the Suffolk Punch Trust rallies over several years. \nThis also impacts the Division Question Time event\, being run within the visitor centre.\nThe Division Chair and myself have travelled to alternate venues to try to rescue the situation\, but have been unable to secure a suitable venue\, to fit the dates\, Q/T Hall\, attractions and rally space required\, and in consultation with the Caravan and Motorhome Club HQ it has been confirmed that this year’s event is cancelled\, however you may well still see it advertised in the magazine\, etc. which have already gone to print\, so please ignore it. \nKind Regards\nGarry & Connie\, Jan & Dave and Tony & Karen. \n\n\n\nPost Code:\nIP12 3JR\n\n\nNo Of Nights\nThis is a 2–4-night rally.\n\n\nWhat3Words.Com:\n///bandwagon.escape.everyone\n\n\nRally limit:\n50 Vans\n\n\nDirections:\nFrom A12 take A1152 Melton Road\, go straight over at the traffic lights. At\nthe next roundabout take 2nd exit sp B1083 Hollesley\, after approx. 1 mile turn left into Heath Road\nsp Hollesley\, approx. 0.5 mile after passing Rock Barracks\, turn left into Melton Road sp Hollesley Bay\nColony\, go over next crossroads into Woodbridge Walk\, site on right in approx. 250 metres\, follow\nSuffolk Punch Trust brown tourist signs & rally signs.\n\n\nServices:\nOwn sanitation essential\, however there are toilets in centre during opening\nhours if visiting centre. Shop\, Pub & Calor Gas (during garage opening times) in village\, about 1.5 miles.  \n\n\nProgramme: \nThis rally is running to accommodate people wishing to stay in the area ready for the Question Time event organised by the Anglia Division.  Any club member can attend the rally even if not wishing to attend the Q/T event\, but only those attending that event will gain free admission to the stud farm and attractions; working horse demo’s\, tractor rides\, country walks\, heritage museum\, vintage farm machinery\, rare Suffolk breeds\, Suffolk heritage gardens\, children’s play area & petting paddock following the meeting. \nHowever\, those on the rally can gain further access to the stud farm etc. at a discounted rate during opening hours.
