Are you one of our regular members or perhaps as yet, not been able to venture out with us on a rally? If a new member, do you know how we operate from year to year?
All Club Centres are run by volunteers, Club members like yourself, who have got involved in one way or another. Some get involved by supporting us as and when they can, to some it’s almost a way of life that our caravan or motorhome revolves around.
We have those that attend rallies and help where they can, those that volunteer to organise a rally, and those that come forward to be on the committee that we need to have each year to be able to function.
Life has changed greatly from even before the pandemic struck, and we are so grateful to all those who have managed to stay with us. Each year, we have to hold an AGM, being part of CAMC, and all the committee – like other clubs/groups – stand down.
Could you give it some thought over the weeks ahead looking ahead to our AGM in October? Would you be interested in helping us?
Our Rally Secretary is also looking for members to organise a weekend for us – could you offer to marshal a rally (with full committee support).
Do you have the time to be on our committee – a lot more meetings are held online now with only a few face to face when needed?
