The AGM is over for another year and some of
you will be packing away your caravans for
the winter. Others, more brave... or perhaps
slightly eccentric, are getting ready for
winter by switching to red propane gas
bottles, fitting the fridge covers and
packing extra blankets.
I was delighted to be elected as vice
chairman for 2009 at the AGM on October 5th
and with permission from the committee, I
will continue to update the Suffolk Centre
web site with news, information and best of
all... your pictures, reports, and anything
you would like to share.
I have updated the committee page so you can
see who your new officers and committee are
for the coming year. The 2009 rally
programme has been provided in detail by
Nigel Berry and I have added all the events
on the Programme 2008/9 page. Over the next
few weeks, I will amend this and add a link
for each rally so that every rally has its
own page with information found in the
forthcoming rally handbook. I will add
active links to interesting sites. example -
the Peewit Rally page will have a link to
the Peewit Web Site and so on. So look out
for this as it will give you a good idea of
what the venue is like and what there is to
see and do in the area.
Members often ask me what is new on our web site.
You will generally notice news items appear
in the right hand news column however, the best way of
checking for changes is to click on the
"What's New" link at the
very top right hand side of each page or
I
update the site every week, so keep
watching.
If you like the Suffolk Centre web site,
please tell your friends. If you don't like
it, please tell me.
Sue and I wish you a very warm and happy
winter season. We look forward to seeing you and
your friends and family on a Suffolk Centre rally field
again soon.
