Over the years Alan & Janet and Tony & Karen
have between them marshalled hundreds of
rallies but at Tangham this May, where even
the rain couldn’t dampen the magic of this
forest venue, they scored a first for the
Suffolk Centre. This was a rally where
contenders for peg prizes included Grenville
Chamberlain, the Club Chairman and his wife
Liz, John Page who sits on the Club
Executive Committee and his wife Marjory and
Rodney Lambert who also sits on the Club
Executive Committee and is Chairman of the
Events Committee and his wife Diane. Not
only a first, but a very hard act to follow
!
Was there a hidden organised theme to this
rally? or do strange things still happen on
their own deep in this Suffolk forest with
its unexplained UFO sightings and secret WW2
history:
No
fish & chip van. Rationing ?
No
water supply between 2.15am & 4.30am ?
What
was the real reason for the presence of
Top-Brass from HQ ?
And
then there was the power blackouts !!
