WELCOME TO BEDROCK

JULY 2010
YABA DABA DOOOOO ! ! ! ! ! !
!
We would like to thank
Sheena, Michael, Darren and Renee for all
their hard work at the Yabba Dabba Doo
rally. This was a new site and it was a
lovely field. We had tea and coffee on
Friday evening and the first part of the
morning was spent relaxing and acclimatising
to the heat !
We were then invited over for rock cakes,
biscuits in the shape of bones and drinks
with a small donation being asked for to go
to the MS Society. We then had sausages and
burgers cooked for lunch !
We chilled out in the afternoon whilst the
kids (and some adults) had a water fight and
made use of the paddling pool which Den had
brought along.
After the communal bbq we then had games to
look forward to. Nigel and I came 2nd in
the Flintstones blindfolded car racing, as
did Max and Jack in the juniors competition.
Nigel came 2nd in the bowling. Can you see
the pattern ?!
There was then bingo but not as we know it
which was enjoyed by everyone (especially
those who won) !!
The marshals put in a huge amount of effort
over the weekend, having to change some of
the timings because it was just too hot!
The outfits were great and particular
mention has to go to James and Jack who made
their own version of Dino ! Good effort
boys!
Kim, Nigel, Jack &
Max Berry.
Once again the
weather was superb, obviously put the heat
order in too high !!!
Thanks for the company on Friday night Jim,
Jan, Bruce & Joyce. I loved your
CAMPERVAN
by the way Joyce. The Marshals slogged away
all day Saturday providing us all with
refreshments & cakes at "Bedrock Cafe",
followed by lunch while most of us sat under
the gazebos to get some shade & the kids
fired the water pistols. Well nearly all the
kids "hey Bill" I knew Sheena would get you
back with a bucket of water !!
In the evening was a get together Bar-B-Q
followed by the a lot of fun games. The cars
were great Darren !! Well done
great weekend.
Many thanks
to the Rally Marshals Sheena, Michael and
the Fitch Family.

A Super weekend with lots of fun and
activities to do. On the Saturday we dressed
up in our caveman costumes and joined in
with the Flintstone Car Races and Bowling.
We are very proud to announce that Sarah and
Jack won the Car Race against Nigel and Kim
in the Final. James and Jack created the
Dino outfit with the help of Jacks' nan. Sheena,
Michael, Darren and Renee and families all
worked extremely hard in the blistering
heat. A great rally!
Enjoy the pictures.
