A Party on the Rally
Field...
The Rose Farm Rally, what can we say about
such a perfect weekend, a lovely setting for
the Chairman's farewell party.
Sue and Sheila worked very hard and put on a
really lovely buffet, complete with a
special cake with David and Tracy's photo on
it.
There was a real "garden party" atmosphere
for the entire afternoon, the marshals
donated wine to help with the celebration of
David and Tracy's penultimate rally as
Centre Chairman and Lady.
At flagpole, David was presented with a
stained glass plaque of the Suffolk Centre
horse, beautifully done by Jim Williamson.
Derek and Sheena Pannell had arrived to
surprise David, and presented Tracey with a
lovely bouquet.
As David has made very clear over the last
three years, he could not have managed
without Tracy, there was not a dry eye on
the rally field. But this was a refection of
our appreciation and thanks to Dave and
Tracy for all their hard work. They will be
missed, but I am sure you will see them on
the rally field soon as "Past Chairman" and
they intend to continue being rally marshals
too.

support the Centre with the 2011 Rally Programme. With spaces on
the rally field in high demand again in 2010, the Rally
Secretary will welcome anyone who would like to help run a

Fire Safety
Please ensure you have read the Fire Safety
Procedure on page 635 of your Sites Directory & Handbook.
Rally Marshals may not have fire extinguishers available on the
rally field in future.
From October 2009 it will be a Suffolk Centre
recommendation that all caravans attending a rally should have a "fire bucket" filled with water adjacent to their "A" frame.
It is recommend that you have a fire extinguisher and fire
blanket in your caravan in case of emergency and regularly check
the batteries in your smoke alarm.
