A few words of thanks....
The annual cheese and wine rally at
Homestead Lake Park this year
exceeded all previous numbers and
with fantastic weather, the weekend
proved to be a success. Sue and I
would like to thank the team at
Homestead and everyone on and off
the rally field that helped us to
prepare and deliver the rally last
weekend. Special thanks to Sheila,
Joe, Sue and Alan for their
dedication and helping us keep the
rally costs to an absolute minimum. Thanks also to everyone
that attended and made it such an
enjoyable weekend. It was fun !!
Sue and I have decided that we would
like to change the programme a bit
next year and we will be moving our
cheese and wine event to a smaller
venue with a hall. Homestead Lake
Park remains one of our favourite
venues and the superbly maintained
field, large open space together
with the lake and the convenience of
the caravan centre, it offers so
much. We are pleased in the
knowledge that Steve and Jo will be
arranging a rally at Homestead Lake
Park in June 2010 and we wish them
every success with their rally and
we hope to see many of you there.

Weeley Cheesey Rally Marshals
.....................................
What an enjoyable rally, the
weather was excellent, the atmosphere great.
On Friday evening we were really lucky. As
well as tea, coffee etc, a very generous
rallier donated cakes which were really
mouth-watering and were much appreciated by
all.
On Saturday marshals and helpers prepared
the cheese and wine buffet for the evening,
Sheila, one of the marshals cooked cheese
straws, cheese scones and little fancy
cakes, there were also mini quiches and mini
pizzas. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the
evening.
Many thanks to our hardworking marshals.
Beryl & Brian.
