Well what
can I say, but what a wonderful rally...
It all started on Friday morning, when Tony
& Sharon, Gary & Amanda and ourselves set
off from the caravan compound in convoy for
the rally.
When we got there were only about 2 caravans
already on the site, but by the end of the
day there were over 120 units on the field,
our marshals for the weekend worked
tirelessly all day making sure everyone was
pitched.
The steam rally was excellent, with plenty
to do for all ages.
The bikes, cars, tractors and traction
engines were all superbly turned out,
although we did worry about 1 stall in the
food marquee that was offering child tasting
as long as an adult was present!
On Sunday one of our friends literally got
wrapped up in all the excitement of the
occasion!
All I all it was a superb rally that is a
must for next year.
Many thanks to Colin & Jan, John & Hazel
and Alan & Sue for a brilliant rally.
