We
just wanted to say a huge thank you to Jean,
Gary, Sheena, Michael and families for an
absolutely fabulous Easter break at Blaxhall.
There was something going on every day from
tea and coffee, hot cross buns, family quiz
night, disco with the brilliant DJ Johnny,
bingo and of course Easter Crafts and the
traditional Easter Egg hunt for the
children. There was a lovely relaxed feel on
the rally field with the occasional water
fight thrown in for good measure to keep the
children (and some of the adults) cool in
the hot weather.
Thanks again for all your hard work.
Kim, Nigel, Jack and Max.
EASTER
FAMILY TREAT
What a super fun weekend had by
all at the Blaxhall Family Fun
Easter Rally. Fantastic weather,
fabulous company and excellent
entertainment.
Arriving on a glorious Thursday
afternoon we were refreshed with
coffee and tea in the evening.
Good Friday we were treated to
traditional Hot Cross Buns and
in the evening we were in the
hall for a well thought out
family fun quiz.
Saturday morning all in the hall
for bonnet making and egg
decorating much to the delight
of the children and adults
alike. The afternoon saw the
hall set up like a cinema for
the children to watch a movie
and in the evening DJ Johnny
played his music and everyone
danced the night away.
Sunday the traditional Easter
Egg hunt took place with lots of
excited children looking in fire
buckets, under awnings and among
the hedgerow for eggs.
A communal BBQ in the afternoon
and lots of water fights during
the weekend. After flagpole we
played prize bingo and chatted
well into the night.
To Jean, Gary, Sheena, Michael
and families you all worked so
very hard and made this rally
truly fantastic and one that
will be compared to for many
years to come. Well done to you
all.
Sarah,
Andy, James and Rachel Pedder.
