Well what a wonderful weekend was had by
all. The weekend weather was perfect and
the company fabulous.
Where were we??? On an Suffolk Centre Rally
– That’s where!
We would just like to say a
BIG THANK YOU and well done to the
new Easter marshals at Blaxhall. Darren,
Renee, Amy and Reece Fitch and Gary, Jean,
Georgina and Charlotte Maples. What a
brilliant team. Everything seemed to go to
plan and I know there was a lot of planning.
They planned the weather,
sunshine all the way. The Hot Cross Buns on
Friday were hot and the quiz on Friday
evening was brilliantly different.
Saturday was craft day. Great fun was had by
all. I even managed to win the Easter Bonnet
competition for the age group 46 ¾. DJ
Johnny’s disco rocked the hall. Amanda can
vouch for that. All that head banging put
her neck out. We hope it gets better soon.
Sunday started with an Easter
Egg hunt. 79 eggs to be found. Someone must
have pinched one! 78 found. Never mind
hopefully we will be back next year to find
it. BBQ with the marshals in the evening was
jolly and as usual Michael was one of the
first to set up but last to finish cooking
my tea. It was worth the wait. (I have to
say that or he won’t cook for me again).
The evening was followed by Bingo. Michael
came up trumps on the last game. Oooh I
wonder what’s in store for me.
Apart from the banner mysteriously going
missing on Saturday evening and reappearing
across the marshals caravan door on Sunday
evening I think the whole weekend went
without a hitch and will be very hard to
beat.
Looking forward to next year and thanks
again.
Sheena and Michael.
Easter Family Fun at Blaxhall
A
HUGE
thank you from us to Darren, Renee,
Gary, Jean and all the children for an
absolutely fantastic Easter rally at
Blaxhall. They'd all put in a huge
amount of effort to ensure that everyone
had a good time - and we did! There was
a disco which we can only describe as
"BRILLIANT", quiz, Easter Bonnet
competition (Jack was delighted to be
chosen as one of the winners!), Easter
Egg hunt, Hot Cross buns and bingo.
Looking
forward to next year already!!

Centre Members The Caravan Club's new computer systems is still being upgraded
and is not currently notifying the Centre of your new or renewed
membership. Please accept our apologies if your rally handbook
is delayed. If you wish to attend a rally, please contact a
member of Committee for rally marshal details. Contacts on page

Fire Safety
Please ensure you have read the Fire Safety
Procedure on page 635 of your Sites Directory & Handbook.
Rally Marshals may not have fire extinguishers available on the
rally field in future.
From October 2009 it will be a Suffolk Centre
recommendation that all caravans attending a rally should have a "fire bucket" filled with water adjacent to their "A" frame.
It is recommend that you have a fire extinguisher and fire
blanket in your caravan in case of emergency and regularly check
the batteries in your smoke alarm.
