We arrived Friday evening and got set up and
had our tea, then went over the hall for a
chat, tea and Irish coffee we also had leek
and potato soup, bread and butter, which was
really nice and different for a Friday
night.
Saturday the hall was open to go for a chat
and tea and coffee if you wanted to during
the day. We decided to go for a walk with
Thena, Graham and Tammy and Sharon, Richard
and Harley and we ended up at the near by
pub for a couple of drinks (don't know how
the dogs found it) we needed a bit of
refreshment even though we had only been
walking for about an hour and the site was
about 2 minutes away.
We then all went over the hall for about
7.30pm and the disco (which was DJ Johnny)
had already started. The men where given a
can of Guinness if they wanted it and the
women could have some Baileys if they wanted
too. We where then given a tray of cheese
and crackers, this was a nice touch to what
was a really good evening, there was some
sore heads Sunday morning at flagpole. The
rally closed at 3.00pm.
We would like to thank Nigel, Kim, Dennis
and Val and the children for running the
rally and Paul and Jan for chairing it. Once
again thank you everyone for a really good
rally.
