Suffolk Centre once again entered a
procession float for the Brightlingsea
Carnival this year. The theme was The
Celebration of 60 years of Children's TV,
the Centre chose to do Grange Hill. Even
though the weather wasn't too good the
carnival went ahead with all participants
making the most of the day.
Our Suffolk Centre entry once again won 1st
place. Well done to all who took part,
thanks to Paul for the loan of the trailer
and car and well done to the Mattocks,
Berry, Syrett and Pedder families for their
enthusiasm at the carnival.

Brilliant Brightlingsea...
The junior crew held a raffle at
Brightlingsea rally. A total of £96.00 was
raised due to the generosity of the ralliers
donating prizes then buying raffle tickets
to win them back. Thank you to all.
The Team put together a superb float that
was entered in the carnival again this year.
The theme was 60 years of Children's TV. Our
float featured a bike shed from Grange Hill.
We were proud to win 1st Place in our class.
Well done to Den and the Suffolk Centre Team
for a great job again this year.
We would also like to thanks the rally
marshals that worked so hard putting the
rally together and siting such a large
number of vans again this year. The crabbing
competition was again a success on Sunday
morning. Thanks also go to the local Scouts
for the use of their hall and facilities.
Well done John, Ann, John, Hazel, Pete and
Tizzie. We hope to see you all again at
Brightlingsea next year.

Please remember owners must keep their dogs (and cats) on a lead
at all times on the rally field. Leads must not exceed 3m (ten
feet) in length. Dogs must be kept under control and exercised
off the rally field. Thank you.
