We arrived at noon on Friday thankful to the
school for arranging a teacher training day
that allowed our grandsons the day off and
from the moment we set up to the time we
packed away it was non stop fun for the
boys.
With a one-off payment we had access to the
play barn and outside play area for the
whole weekend, so Friday it was lunch
followed by an afternoon in the play barn
then tea followed by a run around with the
other young ralliers followed by bed.
Saturday was very similar with breakfast
then a quick look at the animals and back
again into the play barn then lunch then
back to the play barn then a bbq for tea and
then once again back into the play barn
which was open to all for the social. This
was enjoyed by young and old alike with some
of the more senior ralliers finding their
'inner child' and sampling the equipment
themselves.
After a good night's sleep it was breakfast
followed by flagpole then, you've guessed
it, back into the play barn. By this time
the rain had started but we didn't care as
we were warm and comfortable inside. A quick
return to the caravan for lunch and it was
back to the play barn again for one final
session before heading home.
With us adults spending the whole weekend
sitting on comfortable settees keeping an
eye on 2 very happy children we all went
home exhausted.
Our thanks to the marshals for finding this
wonderful venue and we hope to be able to
return there again next year.

Fire Safety
Please ensure you have read the Fire Safety
Procedure on page 635 of your Sites Directory & Handbook.
Rally Marshals may not have fire extinguishers available on the
rally field in future.
From October 2009 it will be a Suffolk Centre
recommendation that all caravans attending a rally should have a "fire bucket" filled with water adjacent to their "A" frame.
It is recommend that you have a fire extinguisher and fire
blanket in your caravan in case of emergency and regularly check
the batteries in your smoke alarm.
