Dave & Tracy contacted John & Christine, Trevor & Sue a few days before the rally was to start and sadly Dave was feeling very ill indeed with flu-like symptoms. We agreed that Dave should stay at home in the warm and thankfully Tony & Val stepped in to help just when it was needed.
 

It was a long day on Friday and lots of caravans were decorated with tinsel and lights. Again it was our challenge to match Steve and Mel's fantastic display. After dark, the rally field was a blaze of colour and a Christmas atmosphere was in the air.

There were fewer lights in the zoo this year, however the puppet show and Santa were both there. The Christmas Train was also going round the zoo with music and a commentary as it passed the animals.

Even though it rained and it rained...... and it rained and it rained..... the ralliers were still out and about. The field became very soggy indeed and one family decided to move their van to avoid a lake that was forming beside their van.

The evening social in the hall was a very festive affair. There were bar meals and booze flowing and the dancing went on all evening. We were amazed at the number of children that attended this year. It was a real treat to see them all.
 

Well done and thank you to everyone for raising £208 with the Grand Christmas Raffle. This will be passed to our Chairman's charities.
