The “riff-raff” returned to
school along with teacher’s pet and a few
well dressed teachers.....
Reports have fed back to the
Webmaster that this rally went down a storm
! Literally I think, as the weekend weather
proved to be full of April showers. Nothing
could dampen down the attitude of some
pupils though. They had come to Dan’s Meadow
determined to have fun, be naughty students
and create a rally that was not to be
forgotten.
The rally field and hall was filled with
uniformed students and without any knowledge
of the rally marshals, they got a headmaster
and teachers all in costume, ready to set
homework and armed with a cane and a dunce’s
cap. I am reliably informed that some older
students were seen smoking and drinking beer
behind the hall. But was 100 lines or
detention set for them ?!!? The evening
disco by Chris Stammers did the trick and
kept them all dancing.
It has been some time since Tony, Sharon,
Charlie, Jody, Debbie and Vince were rally
marshals with our Centre but lets hope they
keep it up into next school term. Top of the
class and full marks to them for an
excellent rally !
