A full strength side competing in
this year’s competition, well that
is until we started playing anyway.
With our management team of the near
victorious under 19’s in raptures of
laughter of the on field antics. We
like our counterparts South Lancs
were out to enjoy the support we had
and do the best that our ageing legs
could muster.
Whilst waiting for the referee to start we
realised that he was waiting for us as we
were only fielding 5 players instead of the
6 we were supposed to be (A lapse of
concentration from the Sports Officer –
something to do with the red wine consumed
the night before). Battle commenced and
before long it was plain to see that Teflon
(Andy Bishop – goal keeper) would be busier
than the South Lancs keeper. Appeals and
laughter occurred when Steve Culf looked to
have been felled in a wonderful sweeping
move, only to realise that it was in fact a
fresh air tackle (no one near him) that
caused the dive of the century. Thanks for
that, but in true Suffolk Centre
determination we carried on to the bitter
end. South Lancs scoring first and Lee
Wardley equalising forcing the dreaded
penalty shoot out again. We lost that one
too but hey ho at least we were able to
retire back to the vans early enough to
enjoy a few medicinal lemonades!!!

and is not currently notifying the Centre of your new or renewed
membership. Please accept our apologies if your rally handbook
is delayed. If you wish to attend a rally, please contact a
member of Committee for rally marshal details. Contacts on page

Fire Safety
Please ensure you have read the Fire Safety
Procedure on page 635 of your Sites Directory & Handbook.
Rally Marshals may not have fire extinguishers available on the
rally field in future.
From October 2009 it will be a Suffolk Centre
recommendation that all caravans attending a rally should have a "fire bucket" filled with water adjacent to their "A" frame.
It is recommend that you have a fire extinguisher and fire
blanket in your caravan in case of emergency and regularly check
the batteries in your smoke alarm.
