The girls had an early start
on Saturday Morning as the draw for the
games were to take place at the
Sports arena at 8.45am, ready for
the matches
to start at 9.00am.
Our first game was played as though
the girls had always played together
despite the only real practice
they previously had was at the Pre-National
rally held at Hintlesham.
Their first game they lost 9 – 3,
but then went on to win the next two
games 5 – 0 and 4 – 0. Our two goal
shooters were Sarah and Georgina.
Our great defence was by Laura and Joley
alongside our Centre Naomi, our Wing
attack Roxy and Wing Defence
Louisa. Charlotte came on for one
half in one game and another half in
the last game. Considering Charlotte is
much younger she played very well.

We
were then through to the Semi-finals
which was played at 2.00pm on
Sunday. The girls were very pleased
with getting to this stage of the
competition. We arrived at the netball
court and were greeted by the
Cheshire girls. From the moment the
game started it was action packed
and very fast moving. Cheshire had
the upper hand but that did not
deter Suffolk from playing a very
good game. Cheshire won the game,
but had to work hard for it.
It was not going to be handed to
them on a plate.
Overall the girls played really well, and we
are all very pleased with how far they came
in the competition. Well done girls, and
watch out to all the other teams next year
at Blenheim Palace.

and is not currently notifying the Centre of your new or renewed
membership. Please accept our apologies if your rally handbook
is delayed. If you wish to attend a rally, please contact a

Fire Safety
Please ensure you have read the Fire Safety
Procedure on page 635 of your Sites Directory & Handbook.
Rally Marshals may not have fire extinguishers available on the
rally field in future.
From October 2009 it will be a Suffolk Centre
recommendation that all caravans attending a rally should have a "fire bucket" filled with water adjacent to their "A" frame.
It is recommend that you have a fire extinguisher and fire
blanket in your caravan in case of emergency and regularly check
the batteries in your smoke alarm.
